What’s your work/life balance? Stay at Home? Got a 9 to 5? Whatever you are doing, your life now is different from what it was Before Baby (BB). Date night is a must, but must it be so much work? Going out with the girls takes planning. You are now spending more time at home than ever before – but the budget has shrunk in the wash.
Your baby or toddler has also had an impact on your home. Toys now dominate where once there were clean floors. Safety is a new priority and you are now on the look out for sharp edges on coffee tables and have locked down your cabinets and drawers. Is it possible to still have friends over without your home feeling like a playground?
Welcome to Next Top Moms! We are all new moms trying to figure out this maze of our new lives. Liz and Becca live in Atlanta, so we will have a lot to say
about our hometown, but mostly we will be talking about a wide range of subjects, so moms and friends from all over are welcome!
Hmm, never thought I would be the mom to take my toddler to the mall to play, but I found myself there three weeks ago on a hot day. We live in apt. and Sidney wanted to run around. However, no green space around our place and it was too hot to pack everything up just to go to the park for 15 minutes (that was as long as I would have felt comfortable letting my toddler play on a hot day). Anyway, we went to North Point Mall and played there. The mall has a very nice play area that is made of all rubber. It was great. Sidney could run, crawl, and play with other children in a safe environment. Plus, I had less anxiety about him bumping his head (a daily issue these days) and I had the opportunity to meet new moms. North Point Mall Play Area rocks on a hot day. Did I mention it’s FREE!
